  | Fiscal Preparedness I see plenty of threads about preparedness as it applies to disasters coming as a direct result of natural or human events, but I have not seen anything on fiscal preparedness. How many here are in debt? How many live paycheck-to-paycheck? Does anyone have a cushion of several months of income saved for an emergency? What about life insurance, retirement, etc? What good are the guns, ammo, and canned food to you if you lose your house, get your car repossessed, or even worse, are the victim of a crippling accident? Americans (gun owners maybe less so) have gotten used to living beyond their means. Please share, in this thread, your stories of success, horror, or any tips that you may have to awaken a sense of fiscal responsibility in those who have lost it or have never known it.
