Communication

Bought a analog, digital functioning antenna for my laptop, I figure when the smarter people than I get communications up again, I will have a way to see or just hear the "news" of the day.

Update, Got a large Alice pack for my birthday from my brother. I got a surplus alcohol stove mess kit and shovel, para cord, a 5 gallon gas can, a bow saw/hacksaw, 30 cr123 lithium batteries, an SF e2l outdoorsman light. Rented 2 hoods woods videos, got a .223 boresight, bought a pair of Murs band radios.

I dropped by gander mt and cabellas to look for knives but didn't find what I wanted.

Planted 3 trees, Patio Peach, Red Cherry Currant, & an apple tree. All of them are dwarf size with full size fruit. Hope they start producing next year at least a little. Also put in another black berry bush.

Oh, man! Those looked SO good. I remember picking raspberries and blackberries along fences behind my house as a child.

Thanks for the link!

I've applied for my LTCH and started reading this forum. Seems like a good start. We have to start somewhere.

Please keep us posted on your results next year!

I planted six blueberry bushes this spring. So far so good, but they don't grow like tomato plants. I'm continuing to work the soil to get the acidity level up. If I can keep them from freezing and the deer from eating them, I might have a slight crop next year.
