![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Since were on the topic of generators I'm gonna ask for some ideas. I have a Porter-Cable 5250/6500 watt gen set, but I think it's kind of worthless for me. My house was built in 2007, and has a electric furnace, and water heater. So, I have a decent sized generator that can keep my fridge cold, and my lights on, but what do I do if it's in the dead of winter, and we need heat ? I'm thinking my only option would be a few space heaters through out the house.....Any ideas ?

![]() ![]() | +1 for the Honda inverter generators. I was out of power for a week, an eu2000i ran my furnace, wii, xbox360, 42in tv, lamp, alarm clock, and phone charger just fine, and they are almost silent. They are also handy as a very portable battery charger. plus I was getting around 12 hours runtime on a little less than a gallon of gasoline. |
