If you run one indoors, a CO monitor (more than one actually) is a MUST. Also I would suggest against using the dryer vent, I doubt that drier vents (even the metal foil) would stand up to the high temp of exhaust gas. Its not meant to flow 5-600 deg exhaust.
Also you will have to think about heat rejection. A generator at load (event a small set) is going to produce a lot of heat. This may be a plus or a minus depending on when and where.
