| wheelman for hire ![]() | set those up around your perimiter and then use a homemade bow/arrow or your zip gun for protection and or hunting. The homemade mines will hopefully slow down or take out any small bands of soldiers trying to attack you,

| wheelman for hire ![]() | I've always been very inventive on how to make stuff to get by if needed on alot of stuff. Plus when I was at my last job I talked alot with one guy there that knows more about making homemade grenades, mortars, etc than anyone I know. I guess being around him so long part of it rubbed off on me, lol.

![]() As far as SHOOTOUT, you're right. If it happened in a movie, it must be true! I'll go find out with this .45ACP I have sitting around waiting on someone to buy it.... Quote:

| wheelman for hire ![]() | yes true, but what's the chance you're gonna have a mousetrap with you in a shtf situation? you could also make flash bombs to temporarily blind anybody trying to attack you while you get close and get them all with a knife or something

| Ever try to hide a pink elephant?? ![]() | Use the mousetrap as both the trip as well as the trigger. Set the mousetrap and use the bar that snaps down to strike the primer of a round or two that are inserted into holes you drill in the wood of the mousetrap and set these up as toe poppers. This is a variation of the ones I heard were used in vietnam. The person steps on the trap tripping the bar which fires the round/s up through their foot incapacitating that person as well as slowing or stopping any advancing enemies. Greg |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Perhaps the bullets could be fashioned into a spear tip or arrow head for deer hunting. If setup properly, I would think the momentum of the arrow or spear behind could be used to fire the primer on impact. I'm not sure how much energy the case alone is capable of creating in the bullet, but it just might be sufficient for decent penetration into a deer or other game animal. Of course, if used through a bow, the inertia of the bullet might just cause the shaft behind to set the bullet off next to your head. I'll let someone else test my theories! |

If you're really talking about bullets, you could 1) stash them in a secure location for future use when you have access to reloading equipment and components, 2) use them for trading fodder, or 3) simply discard them. If you are talking about cartridges, surely you didn't saddle yourself with a caliber so exotic that you can't go out and "acquire" another gun in that chambering fairly easily? Especially in a wartime/occupation scenario...
