What's the chances ? Depends on the amount of thought you put into prep . Whats a trap weigh ? You could carry 10-20 without adding a ton .

This was in "The Anarchist Handbook vol. 3". Still available from Delta Press. My favorite was the "toe-popper" anti-personnel mine made from a single 12 gauge shotgun shell. I don't have many shotgun rounds tucked away, but maybe I should re-think that decision.

It sounds good in theory, but unless you're at close range I don't see the arrow/spear having the energy required to pop the primer. Good thought if you could get it to work.

If you're really talking about bullets, you could 1) stash them in a secure location for future use when you have access to reloading equipment and components, 2) use them for trading fodder, or 3) simply discard them.

If you are talking about cartridges, surely you didn't saddle yourself with a caliber so exotic that you can't go out and "acquire" another gun in that chambering fairly easily? Especially in a wartime/occupation scenario...

Ok now grammar gestapo! I chose bullets over cartidges because it's fun too say boolits and I figured everyone would get the idea. Also, remember the scenario, you are sitting in the middle of nowhere with the chances of aquiring another gun are RARE.

Then again I am stocked up on 9mm and .223 and .22lr so if by chance I DID capture another gun, I have a good chance of being able to use it...

No need to seek info. Have MUCH info stored away. Just none of it pertains to boolits and their other uses.

Well, I guess if I'm in a remote location, I'd just leave the "boolettz" in my cabin/tent/aspen condo until something presented itself, such as another fire arm in that caliber...otherwise I'd focus on appropriate technologies. I'd think if I was trying to stay under the radar I wouldn't be doing to much shooting anyhow.

And if you do not have the tools or metals to do those kinds of things, the bag of bullets is the least of your concerns. More than likely you are trying to take deer with a long stick that has a rusty kitchen knife tied to the end.

I can imagine Savage Eagle with a long stick with a kife on the end also, but it wouldn't be in a fighting position, the weight of the long stick and knife on end would teeter Savage over with the knife stuck in the ground with him the the air and feet churning helplessly.

Use them for bartering for things you can use. I.E. food, shelter materials, etc.

You could use the projectiles as/to make fishing weights. If you are truly up creek you might be able to make a hook from the casing, but it would be a miracle if it held its shape long enough to get the fish out of the water.
