![]() | Making water during disasters, FEMA says fill bottles and bath tubs and sinks, with water, well, there is another way to have water at home but it requires a generator, and a De-humidifier, lately I have been able to produce 4.5 gallons of water in a 5 to 6 hour process if the De-humidifier is outside and the humidity is over 65%. Inside where the humidity is around 50% if the power is off you will be around the 65% or greater, you will produce about the same amount. This isn't a cure all but it is another option for those you want to be self suficient. In the winter time it will take longer but at least you'll have water. |
