![]() ![]() ![]() | Will You Be Able To Bug In ? I can't explain why but I feel that during an TEOTWAWKI event the cities will become chaotic death traps and probably not the best place to be . In my case I live inside 465 near a bunch of borderline KKK types on one side , and a section 8 type projects also near by . So I feel that I'm probably gonna have to be mobile , in which case I've got a place to go providing I can get there .

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | City girl here. Too many people around me. We are prepping....but as far as staying here...NOT a chance in H e double hockey sticks! Our b.o. location is quite a ways away....Not sure if we'll make it there. We are trying to come up with other ideas....hopefully we will before it's too late! I have a lot of family in the Country...but not far enough in the country imo.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Living on the edge of a 15k population city in Illinois 2 hours from home. Hopefully I could drive home, but I'm prepared to bug in if needed. Don't have anywhere closer to go than home, so its either get there or stay here ![]()

![]() ![]() | I believe that I'm far enough away from the big city that I will have plenty of notice before the zombies get here. Been quietly fortifing the home (heavy duty locks, stronger security measures, food prepping, etc.) over the past few months. Don't want the neighbors seeing that we bought out Kroger all at one time and getting any ideas. We could sit tight for 30+ days with minimum discomfort. After that.........well, let's just say that it's covered. Typical grocery list: Sugar, milk, box of 12 ga shells, eggs, butter, loaf of bread, box of .357s, peas, corn, taters, onions, box of .22s, rice, oats, bacon, Maxipads (great for 1st aid), smoked sausage, green beans, box of gauze pads, olives, pickles, canned ham, roll of duct tape, soup mix, canned lunch, lamp oil, canned mushrooms, navy beans, etc. You get the picture. By getting just a few extras a week, the budget doesn't take such a hit and in a couple of months you will be amazed at how well stocked you are. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I live in a small lake community. We are over a hour from any major cities. Lots of small towns around, so we will be bugging in here. Not to worried about gangs showing up, but am ready for them if they do. |

![]() ![]() | I live in a small log cabin out in the woods. Have wood stove that will heat the complete house, lots of oil lamps with extra oil and wicks and a stream running through my property. Cabin is not easy to find even with directions. So I am in good shape. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You didn't have small town on your list. (Pop. 3200) I'm about 2 - 2 1/2 hours from Chicago and near a small city (dying) of 32,000, but near a "main drag". I think I'll have a better chance than some. I can take country roads home if I'm at work. (A little longer than the main route, but safer.) |
