Canned bacon

I saw on another site some canned bacon that could be ordered. Anyone know of a place locally or a specific store that sells this?

I remember the ole man used to have this when we camped. Was real salty but good!

Thanks for the link! I really appreciate it. Not a bad deal at all!
(I just wish they had left some grease. Great for seasoning, especially if the meals get to the point of "blandness" and need a "kick".)

You're right. My mistake. I had the decimal in the wrong place AND for some reason, I figured the price on the 12oz pks we get at the store.

Well they do say each can has around 3-4 pounds of uncooked bacon in it. So it's a little better deal if you look at it that way.

Well, I'm old enough to remember when we used to get a "pound" of bacon (yep, actually 16 oz!) per pack AND it actually had flavor!

(A 3lb. "can' of coffee actually had 3lbs of coffee also.)
Paying more for less. This is our society.
