The Mainstay bar might be what you are talking about, not sure. They have a 2400 and 3600 calorie bar. I haven't tried it yet myself but the price seems reasonable and worth the test. MAINSTAY™ 2,400 Calorie Food Bar Last edited by insidethebunker; 10-13-2009 at 21:40. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There are several other varieties also: Datrex bars and Mayday bars. Both are not too bad. The Datrex bar has a taste similar to coconut and are somewhat brittle. The Mayday bars have a taste similar to apple-cinnamon and shortbread cookies. Some have different temperature limits and vitamin %. Check what you want first. They are not all the same it seems. |

| Plinker | This is the option I use: Millennium Bars Emergency Essentials - Be Prepared Emergency Preparedness Food Storage They are 400 caliories, individually wrapped, and the flavor selection is excellent.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Be careful with those 2400 and 3600 calorie dealios... Unless you're going to be burning a lot of calories working/surviving/whatnot, they're not a great substitute for "real food" / meals. If you want or need something to give you a boost or help you throughout the day, then just about any other kind of regular energy/food/snack bar will do ya. -J-
