![]() | We freeze milk whenever that kroger sale comes around. Take about a small glass of milk out of the container, so you don't rupture the container once it freezes. After it is frozen, it will have a yellow look to it. That is perfectly fine. when you thaw it, just shake it up a little bit, and it will be good to go. |

Then once you open it, you have a limited time during which you'll need to use it all until it goes bad. The down side is that it only comes in those #10 cans, which are a little large for small families. I think you might be able to extend the life of the opened can if you tranfer to a zip top bag and squeeze as much air out as possible. If you have one of those vacuum packer pumps, that would work even better.
