Indy Gun Safety will be offering the NRA Basic Pistol Course on Saturday, December 20th from 8AM to 5PM. Basic pistol teachers the knowledge, skill, and attitude to safety use, store, maintain, and store a handgun and ammunition. This course lays down the perfect foundation of SAFETY and marksmanship basics. We provide a wide variety of guns to shoot and work with, all the ammunition, and safety supplies at no additional cost. Students will shoot some of today's most popular handguns from Glock, Springfield, Walther, Ruger and Smith & Wesson. You may also bring your own firearm to the course to work with, but you will still shoot all of ours as we want you well rounded.

Sign up at Indy Gun Safety Signup. Ages 12 and up welcome. (Those under 18 must have a parent in the course with them.)

    See you there!

EDIT: This course will be at our facility at 55 N. State Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Where does the class go for the shooting portion?.. Is there any marksmanship criteria for completing the course? Also how many students per instructor for the class? Thanks

Same cost. $160 Each. Shooting is at a private range in Indianapolis. We limit our class size to 8. For an NRA certificate, the participant must hit a 9" paper plate 15 times at 15 feet, within the 2 hour range time. (99.9% do it in the first half hour!) We provide a wide variety of guns for you to shoot and work with in the classroom so you are well rounded at the completion of the course. We also provide all the ammo, and safety supplies at no extra cost.

Sorry I didn't see this right away. I am quite busy and do not live on this forum. So an email for the website or our Facebook page will yield a much quicker answer.
