Not trying to be an ass, but other than 'innocent bystanders' what are the odds that you will ever have other people to work around in a stressful situation? I'm all up for lots of training, but i think the average person benefits more from individual tactics. I seriously doubt we'll ever get in a gunfight on the way home from FNS!!

Hey, Rhino, do you sleep with those Bowies sheathed or do you really live dangeriously?

That's a good point, but I also see utility in certain people learning two person tactics at the very least. Husband and wife teams, for instance, are a good example. Not all tactics would involve both shooting or doing "cool" stuff, though.

"Other than" innocent bystanders? Do they not count or something?

If not, then how 'bout my wife, who is definitely a Team Member in our home and personal defense plan? Or, what if I'm out in public somewhere with you, or Nick, or one of my other buddies when the sh*t goes down? We both have guns, we're both going to be engaging badguys, and things would probably go a little better/smoother if we knew a little something about how to interact with each other to achieve our common goal.

Anything my partner can do to help us prevail against the badguys and stay alive is definitely "cool".

I've always thought that any training is there to provide the student a view of the fundamenatals and a basic context to apply said fundamentals. It is then up to the student to apply or alter to fit their needs and style.

Good points. Our 'team plan' involves the wife loading her Model 10 Smith and calling 911 while I grab something from the closet, whether it be my .357 levergun or her 'Barbie gun' and going after the boy/bad guys whichever is more prudent at the time. As to us hanging out, make sure you have a Glock 22 when we are together, that way I'll have extra mags for the Kel-Tec! Hey, you provide the place and I"m all for some team building excercises! I never get to shoot fast with freinds anymore!

I've got the place; it's just a matter of getting the schedule and the weather to cooperate.

I received my Magpul set a couple of days ago and just finished disc 3. This is an excellent video series IMHO. shooter521 has provided a great review and I agree with everything he said. Chris and Travis seem to be very passionate instructors and as shooter mentioned they are incredibly proficient at what works for them and what they are teaching. At one point Chris mentions everything they do might not work for the student but they want you to give it a try and add to your tool box. I enjoyed their teaching style and Chris' use of positive reenforcement. Chris will get in a students face if he or she is Fing up to induce some stress but there is always something positive said after the drill. I found that to be very refreshing.

The camera work / editing etc is probably the best I have ever seen on a gun video. At $40 this 3 disc set is a STEAL!
