Tactical Response is doing a great job of preparing their students for violence.

I know several of the students in the pictures and of course all of the instructors. It's great to see so many familiar faces.

Identification purposes. When you've got a couple dozen guys putting that many rounds downrange and reloading like mad fools, it's very easy to get your AR or AK mags mixed up with everybody else's AR or AK mags...

Probably so they can distinguish what mag belongs to what student.

This is true, but they are also taped to simply be able to find them. Some of the bounding drills cover a lot of ground over rough terrain with vegetation, so having a brightly colored mag stripe makes it much easier to collect mags after the exercise.
