If I remember right 20/20 did a story about "Frontsight". They offer land for building a home on next to a range, gated entrence...blah blah blah. Long story short...Many have invested $100,000 each for the land and never have been given their deads!

Do some research on Frontsite and Dr. Piazza. You'll find lots of lawsuits and other problems. They do (or used to) run a legit training facility but always tried to get customers to buy in to the land sale part of it. I thought the house of cards came down a few months ago.

Also, as noted above, please don't confuse Frontsite with Gunsite.

It may be adequate training, and I have heard good things about the training, but the scandal and the reputation of Mr. Piazza is enough to keep me away.

scam. i hear some of their training is good........ but the cat running it, Piazza or whatever, is not trustworthy.

I don't know. What better way is there to invest 100 grand? I'm sure that's the first thing I'll do the next time I have that much money burning a hole in my pocket.

Alright all you guys are saying scam but the 2 people I know that are going one of which got the pistol deal received her pistol through a FFL dealer last week and they are planning to head out there in the next couple weeks

If they received the pistol and go out there and get good or at least adequate training then you have a good a viable business not a scam Lets see what happens to them and if they come back and say scam then we make a sticky of bad places and put it on it but lets wait till then

I'm not trying to defend frontsight but I am scolding chicken little

Please keep facts going not internet drivel,

I edit a couple sites if you want me to I'll put a page up that looks very good and says that soylent green is people.

The question is not whether or not you get training and a pistol for the money that you give him. That is not in doubt.

Would you go to a course offered by Bernie Madoff? I wouldn't, no matter how good the training might be.

I have asked firmly to be removed from Fronsites mailings and offers and just this morning I get another call about their latest offer. 6 months after asking to be removed. He is a huckster with a big dream and really creepy marketing tactics. Like any timeshare pressure salesman out there. Training might be ok but business is malarkey.
