FS is a skills school and not a very good one at that. If simple refinement of skills is your goal, here is a much better school: Rogers Shooting School - Reactive Shooting Training Why would Rogers be better? It has much tougher standards, is comfortable that it is a skills school and doesn't have the multi-level marketing game infused into everything it does. When starting discussions around topics such as this, I have to ask, where else have you trained? How do you know that FS is as good as you think it is? What is your comparison based on? Obviously the 2.1 second second draw and fire has made an impression on you. What else? I have had probably a couple dozen students who are graduates of various FS classes over the years. Leaving all of the other legal and religious issues out of it, the best I can say is that FS is "a good place to start" because you can buy cheap ebay certs, flights are easy and cheap as well and you can make training part of a longer stay with the proximity to Vegas. It is purely my opinion, but Front Sight is the McDonald's of the training world. Billions and billions served. The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, the facilities are clean and your belly is full when you leave. But what is the actual nutritional content? What is the real flavor? Was the service that great? If McDonald's is all you have ever eaten, I don't think it would be hard to serve you a better meal on many levels. I don't want you to train with my company now. I don't want my advice to be about me talking down another school so that you'll come train with me. Take a class from someone else and then we should talk. I'm out of time this morning, but I'll recommend some schools later if you are interested.

as Shay stated glad your all warm and fuzzy over your 2.1second 3 shot skill drill. did FS actually tell you more about shooting that drill? more info what was there reason for it (let me guess in case the 2 rounds too the chest didnt work or he was wearing armor or maybe on drugs right) Maybe they should have also expalined to you that failure drills or whatever cool name they have this year, please tell me what they explained to you about it or better yet again whom else have you trained under, or is this the typical i have fallen in love whom popped my training cherry syndrome? sounds like it, You have been given a list of schools and trainers that are over and above were you have been ...... move on and grow needed mindset and skills to match or plant sod and walk barefooot

It seems like every school wants to be a "fighting" school these days. The sad truth is that most are not.

I agree 100% im not tacfull i go no bs style i often forget that many dont get it or trully understand what they arent getting. So to crazzy im sorry. Please understand this, over the umpteen years i have been doing this as well as others, we see shooters from many different places. some have checked egos at the door some dont. what other places have you trained and with whom? what made you pick FS and why what do you have to base there training on vs others in this buisness and what and how is it relevent to your daily life.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What the hell does this have to do with anything that's been posted here? We have a guy who attended a course and was happy with what he got out of it. Now a few people who haven't been to that class are branding the guy who has with a scarlet "I" for Ignorance because he hasn't had the money/time/inclination to attend courses hosted by others who teach more or less the same thing or things a slightly or, in some cases, drastically different way?
