![]() ![]() | How did you TRAIN today? 6-29-09 "Bootcamp" at 0600 this morning with some other dudes. Lots of burpees, 8 count body builders, push ups, PT stuff etc. Then a series of line drills, backwards, forwards, bearcrawls, push ups on each line and carrying paving bricks. Finished with a mile run carrying bricks. I will dryfire again tonight. |

| 118LR Slinger ![]() ![]() | 6/29 Went on a 2.5 mile trail run through Franke Park. Going to unpack and repack "BOB" later on and add a few items. I usually do this at least twice a month to refresh items as needed and keep familiarized with what is where. I was planning a rappelling session on Sunday, buy my safety stayed inside so I will make that up this week. Tomorrow I am planning the 4.5 mile ruck and random BFT drills along the way. |

![]() ![]() | Gamez, oh come on bro, those ravines are weak. (but better than nothing). You ever been to Hanging Rock on the Wabash, near Lagro? Sweet-assed 75 foot sheer drop with a nice over hang. Also, near the Salamonie there is a pretty steep bank on one of the bends (on Heinie's Bend) that is good for rappelling. Bloomington? Hell, I learned to rappell in the quarries down there using the most God awful, old school dangerous gear. |

![]() | Didnt actually train today, but did sit out on the deck with a Coors and cleaned (rammed about a feiggin 100 patches) through my Remmington 700. I threw about 60 rounds through it at the Camp Atterbury (military side) ranges last week when our ERT team went there for training. Gotta love pounding those artillery targets out in the impact area at 600 and 700 yards. |
