A Ruger P-Series with a shot out barrel will still put every round into vitals at 7 yards in rapid fire... Accuracy is a non-issue in the scenario the OP described.

If we were talking about a hostage taking event, then I could understand.

i tried BRASS at the range today, shooting at about 5 yards, but i was allll over the paper, i think i need more of that, whats it called, practice!

i think at seven yards slow fire you should be able to keep it under 2 or 3 inches pretty easily

Nah, what you need is some professional instruction. Without someone telling you what you're doing wrong, continued shooting tends to just enforce bad habits.
