Training recommendations near central IN (Muncie)

Hello,
I am looking for training oppurtunities near Muncie IN, specifically personal protection/densive pistol/carry classes. I have found a few options and would like to hear your opinions of these or other I am not away of. I have been around guns most of my life and have a carry permit.

The three I am aware of are 1)defensive pitol class offered by Boone Country Sheriff 2) NRA basic pistol and combined personal protection class offered by Roberts Aldridge in Ft. Wayne 3) I have been told Popguns in Indy offers training classes but havent been able to contact them yet.

Our classes are at Eagle Creek Pistol Range (NW side of Indy). Check out Home Page. Our next NRA Basic Pistol Class is October 3, which can be combined with Comprehensive Indiana Gun Law on October 4. Other NRA courses - Personal Protection Outside the Home, Personal Protection in the Home, Home Firearm Safety and Tactical Shotgun - will be scheduled later in October.

You can't go wrong with anything offered at the Boone Co. Sheriff's range, especially the 2-day class that Sheriff Ken teaches.

You could also make a trip to one of our classes (Adaptive Consulting and Training) that we hold in Greencastle and Terre Haute. Contrary to popular belief, they're both within easy driving distance (half and hour and an hour, respectively along I-70) of Indianapolis and not near St. Louis.

At Family Indoor Shooting Range ( formally known as POPGUNS) no longer does advanced training as our tactical trainer is no longer physically up to the task. We do have a number of companies we can recommend.

As a fellow Funcie citizen, I would recommend taking the trip to Lebanon to take a class with Sheriff Ken first.

AS we no longer do Tactical Classes. We can only advise that you check out the creds of our instructors - Make sure they have not only professional training, they also have practical street experience. There are way to many self professed couch commandos offering tactical and/or advanced training.
