Sorry for the delayed response, the net is not quite as reliable in this part of the world. We were down all weekend.

We're a pretty far haul for you guys to drop by and qual.

I'd say it doesn't make a difference to me, but it is really Henk's call. Drop him a note over on his web and see what he says.

Tinman....

Correct, was. I used to qualify Expert on a pop-up target range (50-300m in 50m increments) with iron sights too and run a 5-minute mile. Have you heard that Toby Keith song? I ain't as good as I once was...

Fact is that I have shot my carbine only twice in the past year; Pat Rogers' course last July and Gunsite's 123 this spring. Skills deteriorate.

Without knowing the complexity of the drills, I should have no problem with the above. I'll see if I can work it in my budget (if I'll be accepted at all). You should be salesman, by the way.

I second what Rhino is saying - if you can get there, DO IT!!!

Henk's experience and direction comes from a completely different place than the majority of trainers here in the US, and it's not to be missed! He's not afraid to teach you things that really work, or really hurt and kill people

I took a hand-to-hand course from Henk and his father-in-law a month ago, and I still have bruises, lol. But, I learned more in those two days about fighting than I had in the past 10-years.

But you won't get beat up in his rifle course, you'll just work hard! He takes few breaks and trains like he means it! I've worked pistol and rifle with Henk before and you'll get every penny of your monies worth!

I should get a commission!! HAHAH!

I'm still cringing when I think or read about the class that Glock21 just did with Henk, his wife, and his father in law. I have an unusually strong aversion to physical pain, which precludes me from engaging in any such man-worthy endeavors.

My broken thumb is still healing - good thing I type with two fingers!

(And that was my partners fault, not Henk's!)

We're getting down to the short strokes here.

If you're interested, we've still got room, drop me a PM, or head over to Strike Tactical's website and sign up.

Thanks,

The class is tomorrow and Sunday. I hope it's full ... if not, a lot of people should be kicking themselves for missing this opportunity. It won't happen again this year and who knows when in the future.

We'll expect a report when you get back, tinman.

Tell Henk and Karen the boys from Terre Haute said, "Howdy!"

Gents, the course went great. Small classs, but made for a lot of rounds down and some very personal guidance and direction.

I will post an AAR as soon as I get back to my offshore location. I am in transit now and web access is limited.

Thanks to those who made it, sorry we missed you who didn't. We will be hosting him again, schedules pemitting.
