An American Crime

An American Crime is on Showtime (U-verse channel 852) at 9:00 pm, tonight. For those of you that are too young to remember, or didn't live in Indiana in '65, it is based on the true story of the torture and murder of Sylvia Lykens by an old woman and a bunch of neighborhood kids.
This murder was the biggest news in the state for quite awhile.
Although I haven't seen the movie yet, friends who have say that it is very true to the actual event.

Indianapolis, on the east side of town. I was a kid up in Grant county at the time and still remember how that was one of the big topics of conversation for everyone.
