![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Free E-Books Baen Books has a free library. You can download the books in several formats. Most are SciFi or Fantasy titles. I Highly Recommend: 1632 & 1633 - Eric Flint A Hymn Before Battle - John Ringo Gust Front - John Ringo An Oblique Approach - David Drake & Eric Flint Crusade - David Weber & Steve White Far Edge of Darkness - Linda Evans Freehold by Michael Z. Williamson (He lives in Greenwood and makes custom knives, Great Author and a fellow gun nut, READ THE BOOK!) Too many more good ones to list. You just can't beat free books. I download them and read them on my PDA. WebScription Ebooks - Free Library Enjoy! ![]()

| Avatar pictured below may not be actual size ![]() | I used to pan e-books with the old "there's nothing like the feel of a book in your hand" excuse, until I realized how difficult it is to read an actual paperback. My hands cramp, the ink rubs off, it's hard to read in bed because of poor lighting, etc. With e-books, I can load dozens on my PDA and have them with me all the time. Makes it easy to read whenever I have a few spare minutes. |

![]() I thought Baen was the only one. I started reading e-books on my Laptop and then switched to my PDA. With the back lit screen I can read at night w/o disturbing the wife. Now i'm hooked and have about 20 new books from Science Fiction Book Club I haven't read cause they are hard cover. Oh Well, when the SHTF and the power goes out I'll have plenty to read by Hurricane lantern.
