Spent 8 days in the Elkhart General motel 20 years ago after showing some one in a car that if they pulled out in fromt of me I would not entertain them with any fancy tricks with my Fully dressed FLH,
I've had a few other bikes since then but can't afford the price of a bike for recreational purposes
Have had a Harley topper, FLH, 45 servicar, softtail
I do have my eye open for a FLH with a side car so the wife & daughter can all go some day

I think that with the current (and future) fuel prices, a motorcycle can't really be considered a "recreational" vehicle any more.

I'm on my third motorcycle. Now riding an '05 Harley Road King after having ridden Honda's previously. Just got back from a four-day motorcycle tour. Life is good.

You do know that having that Softail sit is very bad for it don't you? Why don't you bring it up north and I will keep it limbered up for you

I ride an old Honda with a 450 6speed, runs very strong and gets great MPG.

Annie Oakley will become famous soon enough
Xring is a motorcycle guy. He just lurks around here mostly and doesn't do much posting. Maybe this topic will get him more involved. He is my big brother.

Can't believe I missed this thread initially!
88 Yamaha XT600. The old girl likes the gravel roads.
I ride mainly on road. Need to seek some training before getting too gutsy off road.
