As I mentioned earlier, I don't have all the facts and I certainly wasn't there. However, I have not read anything that says anyone was shot in the back...

I did read that he was not arrested at the scene, even though there were numerous police officers there, one of which evidently witnessed the shooting. And of course we know the outcome of the Grand Jury...No charges.

My mistake for not seeing it in the OP.

I googled 4 different articles and didnt see any mention of it. Seems to run at odds though, since no arrest and no charges?

Commentary I read on another site mentioned that under Texas law, the justifiable use of force is actually more lenient if you're looking after a neighbor's property rather than your own. While both were shot in the back, one was angling nearer the man and ended up closer to him than when he started running (could be considered a threat) and the possiblity was raised that the other was heading for a vehicle to retrieve a weapon. Personally, if a guy with a gun tells me to stop, I'd seriously consider stopping.

Horn is a GREAT American. I am looking to move to his neighborhood in Texas. One of the scumbags GF was on the radio screaming and crying of how "he was such a good guy, did not want to harm anyone." Well lady, your scumbag BF is dead. Maybe it is time for you to upgrade.

Yeah but you guys are saying that "stuff can be replaced" so I can go to a bank and demand all the money and they shouldn't be allowed to shoot be just because the money can be replaced? And if someone breaks into my house I should just say "hey, this is my stuff and you need to leave" and not do anything about them breaking in? Are you guys really saying this?

So basically you guys own guns and have CCW permits for target practice then right?

I'm sorry but these scumbags got that they deserved....plain and simple! If you don't wanna die, DON'T COMMIT THE FREAKING CRIME!!!!!

I don't care if you break into my house and you're trying to steal a freaking cookie out of the cookie jar, you are in my house and I will use deadly force against you!!!! You don't live here, you don't pay my bills, I didn't buy shit for you....You have NOOOOOO reason to be in my house!

So instead of taking matters into his own hands he should have waited for the scumbags to get arrested and then we can provide them with free food , a place to live, recreation, and free education on the taxpayers dime while they sit in prison for what....4 years? Screw that! I'm glad they were shot!
