![]() | Indy area: best place for kegs? Here's the dealio: I are gettin' myself hitched up on Joooly the 19th. We'd like to have a keg or two at the reception...and maybe kegerators to chill 'em Since neither my fiance nor myself are versed in the finer arts of high volume beer procurement, I've turned to youins for help. Any recommendations on the best places that I might get the afore mentioned kegs? Domestic stuff, nothing premium (we like these people, but come on...hehe) Reception is in Clermont, we live on the south side. Would prefer to patronize an establishment on either the south side or west side. Thanks a brazilian! -J- |

Toddy's is the name. I've bought a few kegs from there myself. They can get a keg of just about any beer you want, domestic or import. ![]()

![]() | Mmmmm...powder keg....mmmm I know they don't sell powder in kegs any more, but wouldn't it be fun to just run a "fuse" to a can of black powder or something? Have it shut inside an old clunker car. Mucho fun. And it would seem that I've 'jacked my own thread. ![]() Thanks for the tip on Toddy's in B-burg. That's not too far out of the way to be a possability. -J- |

![]() | I think for domestics pretty much any liquor store is the same. Some stock them, some you will have to order. Just call around to some close to you, or the venue. I don't know if you can rent kegarators, you'd probably need to talk to a party rental place. and If you've never used them, they can be real finicky to get setup. Pressure/ temp. You may end up pouring a lot of foam. <-- had more than my fair share of kegs in college. |
