    I picked up this 2hawks "Warbeast" at the Indy 1500 last Oct for $120. (show price)... It's made from 6150 tool steel, RC 57-58, and has three very sharp edges. I sent it back to have the hear rawhide wrapped, but don't have new pics of it yet. It's a very high quality piece of work. Just my two cents.....

    I really like the added cutting surface of their bearded axes. I'm not really a tomahawk guy. I'm sure a hatchet would work fine but I already have a hatchet. And that is no fun.

    This will be a camping item. I'd like something different than the machete type of brush clearing.

    For camping I'll be carrying a 5 inch fixed blade knife for slicing of veggies and whatnot.
