Case Bowie Hunter Knife

I have a neighbor who has a NIB Bowie Knife with old Jim on the front of it and big leather sheath. It is still in the box. It has on the box "BOWIE HUNTER" Only number I can see is on the back end of the blade, it has

XX
1836

Any ideas of what it may be worth?

Depending on which one, somewhere between a 100 and 150 bucks used.

Looks just like this one. It has never been used or never out of the box. Her husband passed about a year ago, and she is finding some old stuff he had tucked away.

I am not up on some of the older collectables, but I would think if you can get it in that price range it would be worth it. I would give a hundred for it easy.

make sure it has plastic looking handle if the handle is stag your talking big bucks should have some xx or dots markings in blade that tell year

i got that bowie w/ out the box.i would say 125.00 would be close.mine says 183B
