Penalty for Illegally Carrying an Auto

So i have been wondering what the penalty for illegally carrying an automatic knife is...I love autos, but i dont really carry them because i know that they are illegal to even own unless you are an officer, EMT, military personnel, ect.

I have heard that if you are caught with an auto then they supposedly take away your handgun license, then i have also heard that they confiscate your knife. What ACTUALLY happens if you are caught with an auto?

Even then it's not legal in Indiana. Military personnel can carry them as part of their issued equipment and only on base while on duty.

And they stopped issuing all the cool guy stuff, we get gerbers, but no auto benchmades, we get revisions instead of oakleys, etc, etc.

pretty sure theres still a nsn number on those auto benchmades. our supply guy did some creative ordering and got us all one.

We have NSNs for the Oakleys too. Our supply guy just sucks. My 1sg got his Auto Benchmade during the invasioin, he said it was part of their RFI along with the Oakleys.

And I read the indiana knife law, I'm pretty sure they are illegal to own. I remember this because I remember thinking my auto open and OTF Benchmades could be an issue and I should probably just keep it in the gun safe.

that would have been nice. we didnt even get revisions issued though. we got some bootleg pieces of crap. oakleys are dirt cheap on standard issue, so i went that route. looking cool is just as important as being tactically proficient.

we were trained that the cooler / more badass you look the less likely you are to be messed with... "There is no point in being a badass unless you look the part too" exact quote from a training NCO haha

Knife with blade that opens automatically or may be propelled
Sec. 2. It is a Class B misdemeanor for a person to manufacture, possess, display, offer, sell, lend, give away, or purchase any knife with a blade that:
(1) opens automatically; or
(2) may be propelled;
by hand pressure applied to a button, device containing gas, spring, or other device in the handle of the knife.
