To scope or not to scope

Was wondering if most people scope their shotguns during deer season or just use the rifled sights on their rifled barrel and the reason why.

A scope is a big help to me now. For some reason, my eyes seem to think I'm getting old and refuse to focus on a rear site, a front site, and a target all at the same time

I have a scope on both my shotgun, and muzzle loader. Seems to help in low light condtions.

I scoped mine (don't use it anymore now that PCR's are in), old eyes will do that to you. I do have a set of Williams Firesight's on my turkey barrel though, I seem to get by with them.

I scoped mine, I just have tighter patterns which means quicker more humane kills.

I put a scope on my shotgun and I seemed to notice recoil more. There's something about the scope's magnification/distance from my eye that caused me to flinch. I now use the rifle sights and notice recoil much less.

Its rare for me to have a shot over 100yrds down here in the southern part of the state so I have always used iron sites. but a few years ago I bought marlin slug gun and scoped it...took the scop off this year and put that scope on my turkey gun so this year Ill hunt scopeless...cant afford to re site her in...light fields aint cheap.
