The thing about that is he didn't even have the problem with me. He didn't want to find you on that property so he leaves me threatening messages and comes to find me on another property. It all worked its self out in the end.

7-8 yrs ago I was deer hunting on public land in TN. Had an arrow wiz by me as a was walking to the spot I was going to set up in - still way before shooting hours. Don't know where the guy was. Took me a moment to realize what had just happened. I did screw up on that though, didn't have my light turned on - didn't need it to see as I was in a field; guy had to be back off the field edge somewhere in the trees. I hadn't hunted public land in ages before that weekend so I didn't think much about it.

I know this wasnt deer hunting but went rabbit hunting one day with my dad and brother in law and his two boys (12 and 14 or so). in a place and had permission. Dogs drove the rabbit out of there to an old hog lot next to a house. next thing we knew heard a shot and shot was hitting the leaves still hanging on the trees around us. went and confronted the guy turned out he was drunk says he didnt know we were there. just trying to scare the dogs away(scare rabbit dogs with a shot?).
It wasnt a deer slug but it got our hearts racing anyway

Just because they are smart enough to write does not mean they are smart enough to aim them...

On a side note I slept through 3 of them hitting danger close to me one night. SGM was mad as all get. Chewing on my posterior and wondering how anyone could sleep though that. I just started rubbing the patch on my right arm...
