Sleep early when its too dark to shoot, and sit there and smoke cigarettes and enjoy being in the woods until I see/shoot something, or just leave when I get tired of sitting.

don't get me wrong i'm there to hunt deer, but after the first few hours i need something besides squirrels to look at. So i take a book or magazine to read. at least i'm still on stand, cus i cant kill one sitting on the couch.

This^^^ I can really enjoy the quiet and solitude. I get a lot of thinking done. Turkey hunting on the other hand, I end up getting more sleeping done.

BTW: I pee off of my treestand or at the bottom of the tree all the time, never seemed to bother the deer.

You all have much better discipline than I do. I hunt from Pre-dawn (legally) to about lunch. Pack out then back about 3 or 4 for the evening hunt. I do take my MP3 and listen to Pod casts. Usually Prairie Home Companion or Moody B.I. Earbuds double for a better hearing protection then none too.

Yes, honing the fine markmanship necessary to properly pee into a bottle while in a tree stand and not moving is great sport! I think it's be WAY MORE IMPRESSIVE if you were to do it.
