Saw a decent buck today

Went to a local spot today to clear out a spot for a ground blind. I saw two does and a pretty decent 8 pointer. I wish the fields were beans instead of corn. Come on Oct. 1st.

That's how it usually goes for me anyway.

Two nights ago, coming home from second shift, a doe and a sizable buck were standing in my neighbor's yard. They did not care when I pulled up, rolled down the window, hit them with the surefire, talked with them, all at less than 10 yards.

Could have done any of the following:

1. Taken them with the 642 in my pocket.
2. Gotten the Mossy out of the trunk, picked buck or slug and taken them.
3. Gotten the Mossy out of the trunk, clubbed them with it.
4. Taken Axe out of trunk...
5. Taken out the coleman propane cylinder, fed it to one and redo the end of Jaws movie.
6. Ran them over, slowly.
7. Lassoed them. Wait, no, heard bad things about that.
8. Called the popo and gotten a ticket for disturbing the pretty bambi's eating their garden and pooping in the dog bowl.
9. Gone home, shot them from the second floor with the suppressor or crossbow I do not own.

Instead I just drove home as they ignored me. You see, I just live in their pasture.

looking forward to it also. may even use someones blind since they have been told they dont have permission this year
