Cool, I just checked and I got drawn for Fort Ben, but its a Monday and a Tuesday hunt, not sure if I can make it--again! If they really want to decrease the deer numbers they need to open it up on a weekend so hunters can get in there.

It is better to close the park off to everyone except hunters on weekdays. This also keeps the anti-hunters from showing up with more supporters as they too would have to miss work.

I was told that the reason they do this is to make sure that the people who really want to hunt are the ones who are there. I guess they are afraid of people signing up, getting drawn, and then not going.

Yeah, i know more people use it on the weekend so its much easier to close it off on a weekday without impacting the majority of users. Thats fair, but I wish their policies took into account the fact that it's more convenient for me to go on the weekend

I didn't get drawn for either of mine, oh well as bad as it stinks I still have Atterbury.
