| Just curious, when did they make the rule about having a continuous burning light visible for 500 ft? The last time I did any coyote hunting at night was probably 7 years ago or so. Usually I just hunt them during the day, especially during deer season when they track the deer, but only after I've taken a deer. |

| Yup, night time you got to have a light on. Lotta folks fudge on that though. I just hunt real early A.M. and in the evening. If it cold or snowy they'll be looking for food more often than their strictly nocturnal habits allow. |
