![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lost a squirrel today I'm bummed. Lost a squirrel today. Near the end of the day, we heard a couple squirrels rustling through the leaves. I got my sights on one about 20 yards out, and squeezed the trigger. He flipped up in the air, saw him run about 5 or six feet, then heard the leaves quit rustling. We looked as long as we could till we lost the light, never found him :( I suspect he's dead under the leaves, I'm sure I hit him. I hate losing game, almost never happens. I'm picky about the shots I'll take, and see way more squirrels than I shoot at. Usually drop them right off the bat, but this one ran just far enough to disappear under the rather thick layer of leaves. |
