quail & pheasant hunting near vanderburgh county

I'm looking for a good place to go hunting, I've never gone before but my dad is an old pro, but lives up north so when he comes down i'd like to go with him. But don't kow where to go.
Any suggestions?

There is a place up here by Dale. I64 to the Holland Tennyson exit turn south to the T and about 1.5 mile on the right. It is a pay to hunt place but they seem to do a good business. Sorry don't know the name of it, I can fine out if you want.

We went today, I had a great time! I shot three quail and one pheasant. I went with my dad and twin brother. In all we got 4 pheasant and 10 quail. We used their guide and dogs (3).
We paid for more quail, a few got away

but i had a great time and it was a really good first experience pheasant and quail hunting. THANKS.

My son lives in Evansville and every time we go down, I comment to my wife about all the excellent looking areas for quail hunting in Vanderburg county. My recommendation would be to talk to some of the farmers in the area. Another thought is there is a Bird dog training club located off of St Road 57 a few miles north of Evansville that might be able to provide you with some locations. Unfortunately, I don't have a number for them.

Bird hunting is a blast especially with a good dog. My dad raised birds I mean thousands of birds, so we always had the chance to shoot a few and eat a lot. He sold them to pay to hunt places, and turned a few loose on our farm.
