Blood trailing dogs for down game

Anyone know of any Dogs for blood trailing.....I have a freind that has shot a Great Deer but no recovery yet..east of Indy is where the Deer is at!!!!

im not sure but i think dogs to track deer are illegal in indiana. i could be wrong. if they are its a stupid law that needs changed. how far east of indy and when was it shot. if your near me i would be willing to help search

I'm pretty sure for "downed" game you can but, deer running with dogs is illegal. Let me try and find it.

Fair Chase
It is illegal to use bait, salt, snares, dogs
or other domesticated animals to take deer.
Bait is considered any product that is transported
into a hunting area and placed there
for animal consumption. Baits can be in the
form of salt, mineral blocks, prepared solid
or liquid which is intended for the animal
to eat. An area is considered to be baited for
10 days after the removal of the bait and any
affected soil.
Dogs may be used while on a leash only to
track or trail wounded deer.
Artificial deer decoys are legal for deer
hunting.

Using dogs to hunt deer - illegal

Using dogs to find wounded or injured deer - Legal - As long as they are on a leash.
