Very nice. What load and bullet do you use?

BTW - Yes, I heard you. I'll drag out my "black rifle" and get a picture up soon.

I use the 250 gr. t/c shockwave with 100 gr. of triple 7 pellets. I was in Nashville IN at my wife's cousins wedding and I stopped at this little hunting shop. The owner stopped selling muzzleloaders and only had this one left in the back room, still in the box $300 and out the door.

I haven't priced those, but that seems like a very good deal. Nashville is in my neighborhood. Remember the name of the shop?

My hunting buddy has an encore that is one sweet smoke pole!
I don't know the name of the shop it was by the river and the fishing shop was in a house and the hunting shop was behind in a pole barn. He mostly had bows.

Blackhawk. You likely dealt with Catfish. He has gotten a pretty good chunk of my change over the past few years.

Nice encore Bocephus, have you tried 150 gr. 777? I tried it and it really did not make any difference at 100 yards.
