 | Places to hunt, where would you go? Looking at my options I see I am kind of limited to where I can go for state land. I don't want to dive that far and these three choices seem to be close to where I am. Morgan Monroe State Forest 2 hour drive Frances Slocum State Forest 1.5 hour drive Owen-Putnam State Forest 1.5 hour drive Of the three is there a better one over the other. Does anyone know of anywhere else that is public that is within a 1.5 hour drive of Indianapolis? Thanks, James All I want to do is get out and shoot some squirrels... |

 | I've not been there for hunting (been to the range down there several times), but there's the Atterbury Fish and Wildlife area which is within that 1.5 hour radius of Indy.
