NEW The Well Armed Woman chapter forming in Indy

I have been selected to be the chapter leader for the new chapter of TWAW forming at Indy Arms Company in Indy. I'll update with a first meeting date when we have one scheduled (will be this summer). In the meantime, the IndySouth chapter is meeting there the 4th Sunday of each month for any ladies who'd like to see what TWAW is about.

There will end up likely being 2 FB pages for the group. 1 public page for everyone and a private group page for members. Until those are set up if they want to check out TWAW and the range, IndySouth is meeting at the same range (different day then we'll be meeting). Better idea on the Facebook. One group. A closed group. Put enough info for public consumption in the details, but prevent posting (or even viewing if you wish) the rest of the content. I know of several groups like that and it works very well.

Two separate groups just sounds confusing and convoluted.

The Well Armed Woman organization says 2 pages. 1 is totally private with member only info, the other is more for recruitment. That's what existing chapters have set up.

pretty much lol...I see the extra pages as just part of the job. I already Admin our business page, what's 2 more? Especially if I end up letting a co leader Admin a page

Update!! The NE Indy (this should be the official name) is tentatively going to hold it's first meeting on July 12th at Indy Arms Company in Indianapolis. This will be a non shooting meet and greet type event. I'll update the thread when we have this set for sure.

For anyone who's interested, THIS Sunday (August 9th) is our first "real" meeting with live fire after the discussion. I have an NRA Instructor coming in to discuss grip and stance before we hit the range. Indy Arms Company, 55th & Keystone in Indy at 330pm. $10 meeting fee paid to the range.
