Trying to Gauge Interest for informal Women & CC Class in Bloomington in June.

At the Tea party a nice woman who is very new to carry was talking to a couple of us about the challenges of concealed carry for women given summer temperatures and women's clothing options.

The conversation turned into a potential plan to spend June's Bloomington Mutual Support Group class into a class on women's carry options. I imagine this would be a class where experienced carriers can help the newer folks out with choices. A good selection of holsters could be donated for the day and perhaps we can even round up a blue/training gun or two.

I very much like this idea and am willing to try and make it happen (round up resources, etc.) but first I need to know if there is a critical mass of women here who are actually interested. And if there is, would it make a big difference if this were a women's only class versus a mixed gender event.

Anyone interested, please reply or hit me up on the poll that I will be adding. Anyone who wants to ring in about women's only preference and does not want to do so in open type, just PM me directly and I will keep your PM in confidence.

At this point I know of two women who would be interested, and I feel confident in my ability to round up holsters from folks who could donate from their "holster drawer" for a day.

Now I just need to know if there is any greater interest.
