I just wanted to proudly announce that my wife applied for her LTCH today

She has only been to the range once, and didn't shoot too much because we had the little one with us. She was entertaining my idea of her taking the Ladies Only Intro to Defensive Pistol class taught by Sheriff Campbell.

She is going to have to find a pistol for the class though because I don't have a very large collection. I have a Sig P226 (too large for her hands), an LCP (not appropriate for this class), and a P22 (also not appropriate). The 226 might be doable, but probably not the best idea as I don't want physical limitations or ergonomic issues to discourage her.

I am hoping to find a friend who has something she can borrow before the class so she can do some educated shopping after the class (should she decide she wants one of her own).

I am open to any suggestions of things for her to try.
