Took my wife to range for first time.

My wife has not been super phyched about my guns, but does see the merit in having them and even that she should know how to use them too. So for the past few months she been timidly looking the guns over. Asking different questions about operation.
When I originally asked if she wanted to go the range she said, No, that's stupid." But later agreed to go.
So today was finally the day. I took her over to Pops and amazingly got right in. (Maybe because no one has any ammo to shoot? That's another story.) She flinched for a bit at the guns and when I loaded up the gun and set it on the counter I gave her the final few pointers and stepped back. She stood there for awhile, I thought she might cry. (She's very emotional. Even she admits this.) But she barked off the first shot and very quickly put the gun down and composed herself and picked the gun back up and sent another down range. She didn't jump as much. Once she got in the groove she did quite well. She even kept the target to prove it.
After we left she said said she was ok with it. I think she would find it "dirty" to admit that it was fun. But hey, she said she would go back again, so for a first time I think it went very well.
