Cornered Cat - Table of Contents

Have her read over this, it should help a bit in her decision-making. In fact, make her read the entire website - it covers nothing but female-specific carry issues, something I doubt most of us here could comment on from personal experience.

Keep her away from the super light revolvers unless she can go somewhere like Popguns here in Indy and rent one for a few rounds. They feel so light and look so cute while holding them at the sales case, but they can be "PAINFULLY PUNISHING" to shoot, and that is coming from someone that thinks nothing about putting 100 rounds through my .480 in one sitting.

I recently bought a Phoenix 25acp for my wife. It is accurate, small, thin, light weight, very little recoil and matched with hollow points - a great gun.

Please don't take offense but with so many other guns out there why did you pick a Phoenix in .25acp?

25 ACP is about the same power as 22LR. Not exactly a defense powerhouse but better than nothing at point blank range. Why not a nice 380 like a Bersa Thunder, small, low cost, lots of different ammo types available and much more punch.
