![]() ![]() | Ken Campbell (Boone Co. Sheriff) has a ladies only defensive pistol class. My wife is going to take it. Several reasons to have one: - Reduces intimidation and self consciousness - Reduces risk of being hit on (not necessarily eliminates it) - Makes it clear to the student that they aren't weird for being a woman who wants to learn to shoot or (OMG) CARRY A GUN. - There are some things specific to women, such as carry methods and firearm choice (gun makers don't exactly cater to small hands) that could really use extra attention and spark good conversation. |
