Took Daughter to Range

I remember eons ago, my dad teaching me to shoot his Browning lever-action .22 (BL-22). This was when I was 8-9-10 or so.

But I had a friend's dad REALLY teach me how to shoot when we were in Scouts together.

I didn't shoot again (dispatching chipmunks in the yard didn't count) until I was out of college and, on a whim, dropped into the indoor range in Evansville one weekday.

Now, several years post that afternoon, I quite enjoy shooting. And I've kind of "turned" both of my fathers onto it. My step-dad recently bought a G19 and is currently awaiting his LTCH. I talked my dad into getting his LTCH a few years ago, but he still hasn't purchased a firearm for use as home protection. (He has pretty weak hands these days, hard to find something that he can A) operate and B) doesn't hurt to shoot. We're getting there.
