![]() | Took my daughter shooting today Went to visit my parents today so I packed up my daughters cricket and let her throw a little lead. We had a great time she's 8 and this is her 3rd time out, even got my wife to shoot a couple times. ![]() ![]() ![]() My wife ![]() ![]() We had a great time, still need to work on stance and aiming with my daughter but that will come with practice. Although my wife will never admit it I think she had fun too ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's awesome. I have a daughter the same age that's been bugging me to go to the range with me for the first time. I think my Ruger 10/22 is still a little too big for her, so I may have to invest in the Cricket. I was holding out for the drawing of the two (2) from this site, thinking we might win one of those... ![]() Thanks for sharing the pictures. It motivates me to take my daughter out.

I started her shooting last summer when she was 7, she absolutely loves it but to be honest I'm not sure who has more fun her or me. I love the fact that one of my daughters (I have 3) wants to learn and loves shooting the other 2 are younger and my middle one isn't ready to start learning yet, just can seem to focus on whats going on and not listening to instruction but when she is ready (few more years maybe) I'll be there. Once agian thanks for the comment and I hope when you take your daughter out you have as much fun not only bonding but spending time together.-Bret- | |
