I'd better warn Alan that I'm bringing my posse.

bring them all. i always do a actual ingo shoot every march because its its early enough in the year that i know crops wont be planted (i lose 450 yards of my range when crops are in) but late enough that we get some decent weather.

besides the ingo shoot, i shoot atleast ince a week usually 2-3 times a week until summer (shooting slows down due to work) drop me a line folks. last year i had about 6 of the neibors pull out in the field and ask what was wrong with me because indygunworks and i were laying in foot deep snow up by the road shooting long range so cold wont keep me from shooting.

Looks like I missed out on a bunch of fun!! Always puts a smile on my face when I see people enjoying our products.

I promise I do have a real good excuse for not being there

Oh, and you didn't tell me Dawn was bringing brownies....:xmad:
I haven't had those for like a month!

esrice, great review as always. I love seeing the pictures and video.

    1) It was cold but in a good way. Besides who says that you should only shoot guns when it is 70 degrees and sunny.
    2) Peanut Butter brownies are awesome, but the ones with the whipped cream cheese topping and strawberries really rocked.:rockwoot:
    3) I was questioning jblomenberg16 about what 300 blackout brings to the table over .223. Guess I learned WOW!!!!!!
    4) ARs are cool  but Lever Guns are more sophisticated
    5) I can reload a revolver about as fast as bwframe. Remember he is a ninja.
    6) As long as the guy next to me has a bulged reload in the mag I can beat them in a headed to head matchup. :p
    7) I really want an AimPoint for my carbine. Mrs. VERT really says no! :(
    8) Love INGO get togethers:cheers:

If possible I'd be in for any long range work.

Joe you'd love Alan's setup out in Richmond. I've never been myself but I've seen the pictures from past events. You could really stretch out your .338LM there and do it some justice. :yesway:

Thanks to esrice for the invitation, and to lovemywoods and Mrs. LMW for letting us INGOers have the run of their fantastic property yet again.

Dueling trees are great fun, especially when shot with carbines; more ammo means longer matches with more back-and-forth. Additionally, the number of games and drills that can be run on a dueling tree (either solo or with another shooter or teams of shooters) is almost limitless, giving them an incredibly high "replay value".

    A few highlights for me:
    1) seeing the .300BLK rock that steel, and seeing/listening to the difference in power between the supersonic and subsonic loads, was very instructive. I'm really glad I have a .300 upper now; it's going to be a lot of fun to play with, and might even be the catalyst that gets me back into reloading after several years away from the bench.

    2) Having shot Que's .308 and OneBadV8's .300WM, I'm having a bit of buyer's remorse over having stayed with .223 for my bolt gun. Oh well; I will be content to maintain ammo commonality within my own arsenal, and consider myself blessed to have friends with some really cool toys. :)

    3) Being able to take a carbine I hadn't fired in almost a year  and make a 211-yard cold-bore shot on a 66% IPSC steel target was very gratifying.

    4) HotPocket's world-famous peanut butter brownies are even better when served outdoors in a near-frozen state, and consumed while standing around a fire chatting with INGO friends.

    5) I love my job, but this was WAY better than working!
