    Got this email from Gun Slinger;

    "Hello
    everyone, this is Gun
    Slinger Promotions and we are
happy to announce that we will be back in Lafayette at "The Market Square
Shopping Center" (same plaza as the
    BMV) full address is
    2200
Elmwood Ave for those of you
using GPS. Dates and times as follows:

      11th.............................................3pm-8pm
    • Saturday October
      12th........................................9am-5pm

      13th..........................................9am-3pm
    Folks this is a
new location it is "The Market Square Shopping Center" not "The Market Place" we
don't want anyone going to the wrong spot. This is a new location and we are able
to house about 350 tables, and we are hoping this will be another sold out show.
We have lots of FREE PARKING, on site ATM, reasonably priced food and even FREE
drawings, every show we have we give away 5- $50 gift certificates spendable at
a future show with any vendor at the show!

    Not only will we
have plenty of new and used guns to choose from, but also a large selection of
knives from manufactures such as Case- CRKT - Kershaw - Spyderco - Emerson -
Buck - HK by Benchmade - Smith & Wesson - Boker - RAT Microtech - Mora
    - Beckeand even Broad Ripple Knives, a dealer In fine cutlery
for the last 6 years. Something that not everyone may be aware of also is a
recent change in law on July 1, 2013 the State of Indiana legalized Automatic
Knives and there will be a large selection of those to choose from also.

A lot of you may be
familiar with a local dealer out of Waynetown "Old Town Custom Ammo & Guns "
not only are they a FFL dealer but they are also a licensed ammunition
manufacturer and they are planning on bringing a large selection of new ammo
along with a great selection of their high quality reloads.

    A new vendor to the
Lafayette area for the ladies is "Sassy Treasures" who specializes in handmade,
one of a kind conceal carry purses and the prices are surprisingly low, so if
you've thought it was a luxury you couldn't afford, think again and don't miss
    this show!

    show is $5 for adults, a 2 day pass is $9,and a 3 day pass is only $12. Sr's 60
and over will receive $1 off any rate and as always children 12 and younger are

I guess I won't be able to make this show. I have to buy a rifle in Monticello instead. I hope I don't miss any 22LR ammo...

Don't think I will go, I don't believe my son, a friend and I have missed ANY local (Kokomo, Lafayette, Tipton) shows in the last couple years. But the "doorman" at the last Gun Slinger show was downright rude - insisting we remove all ammo from magazines and NO ammo was allowed in the show! Had to return to the van to put the bullets in the vehicle.
Never had that happen before at any show, I sure don't need to support people like this. By the way the new operator of the Tipton show (went last Sunday) didn't even ask if you were carrying! No one inspecting firearms at the door - guess what - NO PROBLEMS. I will never miss any of his shows if I can walk and drive!

FYI, Friday is optional for the vendors. So, if you go then, there will be some empty tables. ;)

Didn't want to go tonight, but its the only time I have for it. Have to shoot soccer sectional championship game tomorrow right after work. Saw the usual laughable prices, but there were some decent prices. The tables just to the right of the entrance had a Ruger 10/22 TD for $330.

They were when I went Saturday around lunch time. The people who stamped my hand asked and pointed to people at another table.

Anything worth looking at? I want to shoulder some different AR's to get some ideas on sights, stocks, barrel length, etc. for a build I have coming up. I also need a couple small parts for a friends H&R revolver, always looking for a certain shotgun barrel, junk stocks to work on, reloading supplies...

AAR:: I hve been to 5 of these shows in Lafayette. Seems like it is the same old vendors selling the same old crap. Saw some decent prices on a few long guns, absolutely no powder or primers. Decent sized show if your a local, I certainly wouldn't drive a long distance for it. Plenty of AR's, seem ok priced. There are a couple vendors selling quality AR parts and optics, most of it is the cheap stuff tho.

I don't care to leave my magazines nor my ammo in my car nor with someone at the door...I can walk in and within 3 minutes buy a box of ammo and a magazine and go to the bathroom and be loaded....so what's the point of not allowing my magazine in the door....and PLEASE do not use the excuse that was given to me last time, "well, we just want to be safe" how many gangsta shoot outs have happened at gun shows where we feel we need to disarm the masses?

I will not spend my money visiting this show....too bad, because I like to look for local vendors and friends to support with my cash

This show is Gunslinger’s fourth show in Lafayette. The fairground show has a different promoter and different vendors.
