I bought a double weight leather belt from one of the shops in Nashville. Don't have the guy's card right now. Was recommended here on INGO. Is on the main drag. I had used other belts and found this one really helps with carry. Liked being able to support local; try before I buy; and if there is a problem, I can go back to them.

The double weight was only a few $$ more than regular and does not look much different. Figure cry one, buy once.

I'll look for where I bought the belt.

    Thanks I appreciate that!

Currently using a Daltech Force Bio-Belt for work and OWB, while using a Duluth Trading Lifetime Belt (black leather) for my IWB... Daltech Force is worth the look...

I've been carrying with a DeSantis E25 belt for 2 years and have no complaints. It was one of the cheapest belts I could find that was still designed to use as a gun belt. I also like the fact that it looks like a normal leather belt.

No love for the Ares Ranger belt?

I have one, still going strong after 2 years now. Certainly not the cheapest option, but worth the money IMO. Plus, you can always do like I did and put it on your christmas list so you don't have to pay for it :)

Okay so looks like Galco is on my list to check out as well! Thank you!

I have a custom made belt by El Paso Saddlery that I have had now for nearly 5 years. I need to get a new one, only because I have lost so much weight, that darn thing nearly goes around me twice now (well, not quite, but when you have to tuck the end of it into your side belt loops, that is a tad big.)

I ran a 10k trail run yesterday with my full size SR9 on my Bio belt. Every thing stayed where it belonged, and was never uncomfortable, my loyalties lie with the bio belt.

I've had one of these for several years and it's holding up well - 5.11 Tactical Operator Belt - 1.75" Wide

This is the 1.75-inch model; works well with my serpa and double mag pouch; fits most of my shorts and tac pants, a bit tight in jean belt loops. They do make a 1.5 inch model that would probably do the job.

I have this same belt. I have worn it everyday for two years and it has gotten soft and lost its stiffness. I am going to SOE EDC belt. They seem to hold up better and retain their stiffness.

For the money I would not recommend the 5.11 Operators. The tail end on mine has split and is fraying. Along with the lost of stiffness.

I purchased a Daltech bull belt a little over a year ago and I was happy at first but not too long ago it doesn't seem much more stiff than any off the shelf belt you can find anywhere. I figured it would have lasted much longer. Maybe I should go with the bio belt next time.

    For the ladies:

I was at 1500 yesterday and came across a table/booth called Rebel Gear for Women. They are contoured bullhide belts for women. They have stitching for looks only. I tried it on and I can't believe the difference. Us women have hips and most belts in the stores are flat. Even though this belt is thicker than any belt I have ever worn it is by far the most comfortable. There is no "gap" that most women are familiar with and keep everything right where it should be.

    cost: $55.00

I bought a Daltech no buckle belt and it appears to be a great belt. The only issue I have with it is it's to big, but if I keep going the way I am I should fit in it by next year.
